Artist Statement
見ようとしなければ、存在しないものがあります。
それは人の心であり、
月もまた然りです。
言葉にならない想い。
普遍的でありながら忘れられているもの。
それらを探求する中で、
「月」というモチーフに至りました。
目を閉じても心に浮かぶ月。
雲に隠れても変わらずに輝く月。
そして今見ている月を、
世界のどこかで知らない誰かも見ている。
月は、黙ったまま
私たちが同じ星に生きていることを思い出させてくれます。
私は月を通して、
「言葉になる前の心象」を描いています。
それは、
言葉にできなかった想いや
記憶の奥に残る感覚や気配です。
作品では、
書道の鍛錬の中で培った線と余白を用い、
移ろいゆく心象風景を現代書として表現しています。
作品が、
「内なる静けさ」や
「本来の自分と向き合う時間」のそばで、
静かに寄り添う存在となれば幸いです。

Artist Statement
There are things that do not exist unless we choose to see them.
The human heart is one of them.
The moon is no different.
Unspoken feelings.
Things that are universal, yet often forgotten.
It was through exploring these invisible presences that I arrived at the motif of the moon.
A moon that appears even when we close our eyes.
A moon that continues to shine, hidden behind the clouds.
And somewhere in the world, someone I have never met is looking at the same moon I see tonight.
Without saying a word, the moon reminds us that we share the same planet.
Through the moon, I explore what I call “the imagery before words.”
Feelings that could not be expressed.
Sensations and traces that remain deep within memory.
Drawing upon the lines and spaces cultivated through years of calligraphic practice, I create works that evoke shifting inner landscapes.
I hope these works may quietly accompany moments of inner stillness and reflection, offering a space in which viewers can reconnect with themselves.
